Got Questions? We've Got Answers.
Here are the most common questions we get from artists. Don’t see yours? Send us an email or DM on Instagram — we’re always happy to chat.
How do I book a session?
You can book directly through our website using the booking form, send us an email at galaxy21recordingstudio@gmail.com, or DM us on Instagram at @galaxy21recordingstudio. We’ll confirm availability and lock in your time.
What should I bring to my session?
Come prepared with your lyrics written out, any reference tracks you love, and a clear idea of the vibe you’re going for. If you have instrumentals or beats, bring them on a USB, phone, or shareable link. Other than that — just show up ready to work and create.
Do you provide beats or do I need to bring my own?
Both! Galaxy 21 has beats available for lease starting at $25 or exclusive rights starting at $100. You can also bring your own beats. If you need something custom produced, talk to us about our production and songwriting services.
What is the difference between mixing and mastering?
Mixing is the process of balancing all the individual elements in your song — vocals, beats, effects — so everything sounds cohesive. Mastering is the final step that optimizes the overall loudness and tone of the finished mix so it’s ready for Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and beyond. Galaxy 21 offers both for $40 per track with a 2-day turnaround.
Can I rent the space without an engineer?
Absolutely. Our space rental option allows you to book the studio for personal use — bring your own engineer and work independently. You can also add one of our engineers to your session if needed. Space rental starts at $25/hr.
Can I book the space for a video shoot or podcast?
Yes! Galaxy 21’s space rental is available for video/promo shoots and podcast or interview recordings. Please note that the space is for music and business purposes only and is not available for parties or events.
Where is Galaxy 21 Recording Studio located?
We are located in Windsor, Ontario. The exact address and directions will be provided upon booking confirmation. Feel free to reach out via Instagram DM, email, or phone to get more details.
Do you work with new artists or beginners?
